Social Media Awareness Night!

social-mediaThursday, October 5th

6:00pm

La Paloma Lakeside M.P.R

You are invited to Social Media Awareness Night. A representative from the Tucson Police Department will be here to educate LaPaloma Lakeside parents on the dangers of social media and what you can do to keep your children safe.

We understand that your time is important, so we will be serving dinner for the whole family at this event, to help make it possible for you to attend. This is a parent only presentation, so after dinner, there will be childcare and activities for children 4 years through 5th grade. Title 1 will also be hosting Escape the Room activities for our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students during the presentation. In order for students to take part in the activities, parents MUST be in attendance.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Our Interventionists Rock!

Hello Title 1 Families!

In recent weeks we have been working diligently with your children to best prepare them for the upcoming AzMerit assessment. Our interventionists are doing a phenomenal job in supporting the growth of all students, based on each of their individual needs. We invite you to talk with them at home about the many things they are learning at school. The Arizona Department of Education website (www.azed.gov) has many resources related to our revised Arizona State standards and the AzMerit assessment, coming up at the end of March. Also, our LPA websites (www.lpatucson.org) are a wealth of information regarding your child’s education, so check for school updates and tips on how you can get academically involved, both at home and at school.
